The services that will be supplied by OSM include
- Career Management – not only within rugby league but also guidance of employment outside of rugby league to gain skills that can be used for future employment post-football.
- Contract Negotiation – to negotiate on behalf of players when players are seeking an amendment, waiver, etc, of their contracts.
- Sponsorships & Endorsement – with the advice from the accountant/ financial advisor, negotiating details with consideration of market stability, popularity, and future earnings prospects.
- Legal Representation – acting as a legal representative with advice from our own legal team to ensure that a player’s intentions and demands during contract discussions and negotiations are echoed and heard.
- Public Relations – marketing and media. Assisting with media interactions and media training, ensuring that players say and do the right things. Absorb negativity from fans and social media, and handle written statements and unfavoured behaviour.
- Personal Finance – handling financial matters beyond contract as required, such as paying taxes, making large purchases, providing access to financial advice, and more.
- Welfare Advice & Support – having access to mentors and services that offer mental health and wellbeing support and seminars, cultural support, and sports psychology.
- Wellbeing – access to diet and nutritionists and strength and conditioning coaches through current partnerships with clubs and services.
